How is the monthly hire rate calculated?
The rate is a percentage of the artwork’s purchase price per month. Single Piece is 6% — so a $1,800 original is $108/month. Studio Collection is 5% ($90/month per piece). Resident Collection is 3% ($54/month per piece). No hidden fees.
How long until I own the artwork outright?
At 6% (Single Piece), a piece is fully paid off after ~17 months of continuous hire. At 5% (Studio Collection) that’s 20 months. At 3% (Resident Collection), around 34 months. You can also purchase at any earlier point — hire payments to date will be discussed as a credit toward the price.
Can I purchase an artwork during the hire period?
Yes — you can choose to purchase any artwork at any point during your hire. We will discuss offsetting your hire payments against the purchase price at the time of enquiry.
Can I swap artworks during the hire period?
Yes. After the initial 3-month minimum term, you can swap pieces for different works from the collection. This keeps your space feeling fresh and lets you explore a range of works over time.
What is the minimum hire commitment?
The minimum hire period is 3 months. After that, the arrangement continues on a rolling monthly basis and you can rotate or return artworks with reasonable notice.
Who is responsible for the artworks?
During the hire period, the business assumes care of the artworks. We recommend covering them under your business contents insurance. We can provide documentation and valuations to assist with this.
Do you deliver and install the artworks?
Yes. We handle delivery and professional installation across Sydney. Please enquire about other locations.
